The S515 module is a clockable, syncable, Voltage Controlled Low Frequency Oscillator with 7 possible waveforms. The waveforms include, Sawtooth, Ramp, Sine, Square, Triangle, and two other unusual wave forms, Triple-thirds-triangle and a Half-triangle-half-square.
The Rate can be dialed manually or using CV. A low/high switch gives two speed ranges. This LFO rate can go as low as 0Hz (yes it can literally stop) up to an audio rate of 1700Hz. The stp (step) knob/CV quantizes all waveforms, this generates stepy waveforms with the level of stepiness increasing as the stp is increased.
The LFO rate can be tempo synced with the Clock In input.
IMPORTANT: When a clock in is used, The rate Knob/CV has to be set to minimum (ZERO). Otherwise the clock rate will ADD to manual Knob/CV rate.
The LFO can be restarted using the Restart In input. When used with the Clock In. The module becomes completely syncable. The knob just near the Restart In adjusts the phase of the restart. For example, When set to 12 o’clock, the LFO will restart from half cycle when a restart trigger comes in.
