A DC blocker is a filter that removes DC offsets from an audio signal. This tool is sometimes useful if you bring audio from your hardware through a DC coupled interface or when you process audio using a long effect chain which may add some DC offset. Or even a square/pulse waveform can contain an offset. DC offsets in audio can some times be problematic if too much. They may cause audio to clip.

Tip: You can test if your audio contains a DC offset using the SE10 Dual Volt Meter.

The S210 contains two DC blockers. The Block knob controls how fast and powerful the blocking is. Higher values will lead faster blocking but can also reduce bass.
