SE16

SE16 Wide Signal Analyzer

Product Description

(This modules is included in the System B)

The SE16 is the big brother of the SE15. It works in almost exactly the same way with the following extra features and differences:

1. The first obvious difference is the wide display. which allows for a better view at the expense of extra CPU usage and rack space.

2. Sync In patch point allows for syncing with a third/external signal other than the red input channel. This is useful for example when the red channel is too complex or has too much aliasing that syncing is not stable, in this case you can use an oscillator with a simple waveform like a sin or triangle and tune it to the same frequency as the red channel and feed that into the Sync In. Note here that Sync In will only sync to simple waveforms, this is intentionally made to reduce CPU usage.

3. A Freeze button is provided which will freeze the display for you take a good look at it or copy a screen shot.

4. The Memory knob determines how much time the two input signals are kept in memory. This directly affects the maximum horizontal zoom out. The higher the value of the knob, the more you can zoom out horizontally (time). Options include, 0.5 seconds, 1.5 seconds, 3 sec, 5 sec, 8 sec, 16 sec and 32 sec.

This means that at the maximum setting. You can display a full audio or CV lasting for up to 32 seconds in one screen shot.
