SD31 MIDI Trance Gate

The SD31 Trance Gate takes a sustained MIDI note (or notes) and chops it into stuttered notes controlled by the 16 white buttons of the module. The speed is controlled by an external Clock In. (This effect is better understood when heard). You can choose the number of Steps with the digital display.

The Restart/Off switch will cause the whole gating sequence to restart from the first step when newly pressed MIDI notes come in WHILE there is no current note(s) playing. The Sync Start/Off switch will force the first step to always sync with the incoming clock regardless of when the notes are played.

Tip: When using polyphony. Connect this module BEFORE the SD05 MIDI Poly Chainer. This will gather all polyphonic voices notes together into one sequenced gate. However, If you want to try and connect it AFTER the SD05, then put the SD31 into poly mode (right click menu).
