S701 Shift/Reset Clock Divider

The S701 is a hybrid of both the S702 and S703 with the additional useful feature of individual shifts for each clock division output. The shifts dictate at what point the divided clock occurs with respect to the input clock. After a reset is received, when a shift knob is at minimum, the first divided clock will occur immediately with the input clock. When a shift knob is at maximum, the divider will behave exactly like the S702 and S703 (ie. last division).

Setting the shifts to minimum is very useful in the case were you want the division (sent to say a sequencer) to start immediately with the first incoming clock. Such as the case when syncing to DAW.
