S703 Clock Divider

The S703 is a simple clock/trigger divider with a variable factor n. A clock/trigger generates lower speed frequency clocks from a higher speed clock. When n=1, the divisions are 1/2. 1/4,  1/8… to 1/64. That is, half speed, quarter speed, 8th speed and so on until the 64th speed.

 

Now when n>1. The speeds get further divided by n, and the results are even slower speeds: 1/2n, 1/4n, 1/8n… to 1/64n. n can range from 1 to 5. This means that one could get odd and unusual rythms as well as strictly musical ryhthms all from on module.

 

This module would be great when syncing Eurorack hardware using your DAW. (By connecting to an output module like the SA12 module).
